CHAZEN MUSEUM OF ART

 

The Chazen Museum is located in Madison, Wisconsin on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Formerly known as the Elvehjem Art Center, it has over 23,000 works that represent the entire spectrum of art history across culture, period, media, and genre.

“Venus of Urbino Revived”, 2018 (2019.1), was acquired by the museum in 2018 as part of a major gift by the Kohler Foundation. The piece was selected for its art historical theme and is part of the museum’s Applied and Decorative Arts collection.
