MUSEUM COLLECTIONS

Mara Superior has been recently exhibited at the American Museum of Ceramic Art, Scripps Women’s College, the Fuller Craft Museum among many other institutions. Her work can be found in many collections including the White House Collection of American Craft, the Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC, the Peabody Essex Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art and the LA County Museum of Art. Superior has received numerous awards including a National Endowment for the Visual Arts Fellowship, the prestigious Guldaggergård Residency in Denmark, and numerous individual artist grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Her work has recently been included in the Smithsonian Archives of American Art and acquired by the Kohler Foundation in 2018.
